Construction of our senior living expansion is now officially underway. When it’s complete, it will offer more options, more levels of care and more peace of mind for seniors and families throughout Greensboro, Hewitt, Highland Park, Lindley Park, Hunter Hills and beyond. Watch as local dignitaries, area Masons, community leadership, residents and families all come together to celebrate the beginning of a new era at WhiteStone.

As the Greensboro area population continues to rise and grow older, more seniors and their families are looking for a retirement community like ours – a Life Plan Community that offers an active, independent lifestyle and security for the future. To meet the needs of even more seniors in our area, we’re pleased to announce we’re expanding – with more independent living options, new memory care suites and a new level of care: assisted living.
Once complete, the expansion project will bring a full continuum of care to our senior living campus.
The new building will include:
- 67 independent living residences
- 24 assisted living residences
- 12 memory care suites
CARE AND WELLNESS CENTER RENOVATION – NOW OPEN!
The expansion project also includes extensive renovations to the Care and Wellness Center – including brand-new locker rooms and wellness spaces.
The refreshing and innovative new space will feel less clinical and more homelike. It includes a mix of private and companion suites, complemented by amenities and services more commonly associated with fine hotels.

Our exciting new expansion apartments are available in a variety of floor plans. The new apartments are designed with today’s seniors in mind. They feature open floor plans, an abundance of natural light, plenty of closet space and more. Each floor plan also includes either a balcony or sunroom. Some options include fireplaces. Choose from:
